Nancy Pollock MSc, OT Reg. (Ont.), OT(C)

Nancy Pollock, our dear friend and colleague, passed away on February 24, 2020. Nancy was a great inspiration to us all. Her passing is an immense loss, not only to family and friends, but also the children she was dedicated to serving.

Watching Nancy wrestle with a problem that limited a child’s participation in everyday life was experiencing a master – her standards were high, her knowledge and compassion immense and her impact remarkable.

Nancy was an incredibly talented educator – she taught over 1500 student occupational therapists at McMaster University. Student evaluations focused on her enthusiasm, her knowledge and her ability to engage students in critical thinking.

Nancy was an integral member of the team that developed the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure. We miss her every day!
