We are pleased to announce the release of an online learning module for the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM, 5th ed.). The learning module is targeted to students and new users, and covers theoretical underpinnings and research on the measure, as well as practical guidance on how to use the COPM. The module is interactive, including video clips, exercises, self-reflection and quizzes. It takes approximately two hours to complete and to date has been earning rave reviews.
Many educators are experimenting with inquiry-based learning and the “flipped classroom”. The COPM Learning module is an excellent tool for this approach. Students can complete the module on their own, and then class time can be focused on discussion, examples and practice to deepen learning.
