Using the COPM with Veterans

In a recent study, Plach and Sells (AJOT, 2013) used the COPM to assess the occupational performance issues experienced by USA veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Among 30 veterans aged 20-29 years, the most frequent issues identified included driving, eating/weight gain, sleeping, school participation, and social relationships. The authors discuss the implications of these findings for practice.
